Little Mix enjoy early Christmas present with huge UK sales achievement

The British Phonographic Industry has announced its end of week awards this afternoon and Little Mix have achieved an incredible new milestone with their latest album, 'Glory Days'

The popular girl group's new record has shifted over 300,000 copies since its release, securing a Platinum certification. 

Avril Lavigne's album 'Let It Go' has now gone an incredible six times Platinum, Metallica's 'Hard Wired To Self Destruct' has gone Gold (100,000), and Biffy Clyro's 'Ellipsis' has also now reached Gold status. Elsewhere, The Weeknd's record 'Starboy' has been certified Gold as has Kate Bush's 'Director's Cut'.
