Little Mix's "Wings" reaches over 184 million YouTube views

Little Mix's Wings was released on August 24, 2012. It was the lead single from their DNA album.

It has now surpassed an incredible 184 million video streams on YouTube. Even the 'making of' video has over 2 million YouTube streams!

Wings has also amassed almost 55 million plays on Spotify.

The video was shot in a warehouse with the girls performing in front of a pink Union Jack. It reached No. 1 in the UK.

The songs lyrics were inspired by the first week of live shows of The X Factor (UK) where Little Mix were the favorites to be eliminated and felt disheartened by hearing the odds in the show's green room.

At the time of release, the single was given a warm welcome by music critics including fromThe Guardian, who said that the band could win "where other X Factor winners have failed". The Guardian also said the single had "everything you'd want to hear in a pop song in 2012".

The newspaper also compared the girls vocal range to that of Christina Aguilera.
