Little Mix on Miley Cyrus: 'We hope people don't forget that she is talented'

'Wings' beauties Little Mix have opened up about what it was like to present an award to Miley Cyrus and revealed that people should focus on her talent rather than her controversial behaviour.

Speaking to Digital Spy about handing a trophy to the 'We Can't Stop' beauty at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, songstress Leigh-Anne Pinnock explained that it was really exciting:

"When we were out there, the VMA performance hadn't happened yet. I think 'We Can't Stop' had just come out and we were presenting an award to her."

Member Jade Thirlwall was asked about her 'Wrecking Ball' music video, in which Cyrus can be seen completely naked, and added that the public need to remember that she is an impressive vocalist instead of getting caught up in her transition from 'Hannah Montana' to adult pop star:

"Is that the one where she's wearing like a mankini? It's up to her what she wants to do, but I hope people don't forget that she's actually talented. 'Wrecking Ball' is an amazing song - it's all our favourite thing at the moment. It's an incredible song. We all think she's a brilliant popstar."
