Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has revealed that she has no desire to get married abroad.

The singer and One Direction hunk Zayn Malik confirmed their engagement earlier this year after months of being together.

She has now told OK! magazine that the pop duo won't be escaping their native Britain to wed, because of their family and friends. Edwards said:

"I don't think I'd like to get married abroad - I get too homesick. I think it'll be in the UK because all my family are here."

The blonde beauty meanwhile recently confirmed that her Little Mix bandmates would be bridesmaids on the big day.

She added that One Direction will also act as ushers on what will be a massive day in British pop.

The 20-year-old is on course to be the first Little Mix singer to wed, whilst Malik is also set to be the first One Direction member to tie the knot.
