Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik have welcomed a new kitten to their household and introduced him to their fans via Little Mix's official Twitter page.

Prada looks like a persian or scottish fold breed feline and is white with grey patches.

The photo's caption read: 'Say hello to the new member of the family, Prada :) Perrie&Zayn <3.'

The loved-up couple, who got engaged in August, then posted a short Vine video of Perrie playing with little Prada, writing: 'DespicableMeMoment She's so fluffy I'm gunna die! :D <3.'

Edwards and Mallik - both 20 - recently reunited after One Direction's epic Take Me Home world tour drew to a close earlier this week.

The blonde singer admitted she and her boyband beau have been so busy with their respective music careers that they have had no time to plan their impending nuptials. 

She told The Sun: 'Zayn and I have had no time to start properly planning. The engagement kind of just happened and then we’ve been away from home all year. But, put it this way: I don’t want to be engaged for 50 years. We’ll get there soon.'

And the Geordie beauty explained she has already asked her Little Mix bandmates, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, to be her bridesmaids. The One Direction boys have been asked to be the ushers.  

Little Mix will be guests on ITV1's 'Surprise Surprise' tomorrow (November 10).
