Lorde on GRAMMYs success: 'I'm so grateful for the attention my work has received'

New Zealand based beauty Lorde has revealed her gratitude at winning two GRAMMY awards this past weekend in a heartfelt message shared via Twitter.

The 'Team' songstress took home the Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance prizes, which were both for her hit single 'Royals', and she took to the social networking site after the show to thank the industry and music fans alike for recognising her work in such a huge way.

She wrote (January 27): "I am so grateful for the attention my work has received tonight and this year. Thankyou and goodnight."

Lorde also praised friend and fellow female solo artist Taylor Swift following the ceremony, adding: "very proud of @taylorswift13 tonight. One of the most masterful performers I've seen."
