Lorde criticises photo airbrushing: "Flaws are okay"

Lorde has lamented airbrushing and photo editing by stating that people's "flaws" should be celebrated.

The singer performed at Chile's Lollapalooza over the weekend and she uploaded two different images to Twitter of herself performing at the event.

One picture shows the singer with seemingly flawless skin, whilst the other image shows Lorde with her real natural skin.

The 'Royals' star added that she feels "flaws" don't need to be covered by airbrushing.

Lorde said: "I find this curious - two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-)."

The 17-year-old meanwhile is enjoying a positive start to 2014 after bagging two Grammy awards and a BRIT.

The New Zealander performed at both events, with the singer teaming up with Disclosure at the latter.
