Lorde has confirmed a lengthy tour of the North America.

The New Zealander will play a series of shows in the continent this autumn as she continues to support her debut album 'Pure Heroine'.

The tour will open in Philadelphia on September 5 before concluding in Austin on October 12.

Lorde meanwhile is also due to play two festival dates in the North America before the full tour kicks off - Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 1 and the Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal on August 3.
