Lorde has played down the chances of a Taylor Swift collaboration.

The two singers have become good friends over the last year and they are regularly seen out and about together.

This has led to speculation of the duo working together - but Lorde told E! that she doubts that will happen anytime soon.

She said: "She's amazing and she's very talented, but I feel like the way she writes is very much her voice.

"It's the same with me. We're very kind of singular."

Lorde meanwhile is currently working on material for the follow-up to 2013's 'Pure Heroine', with the New Zealander creating some "amazing stuff".
