Lorde immortalised in wax for Madame Tussauds display

New Zealand songstress Lorde has taken to Twitter this evening (May 13) to share a few snapshots of her recent visit to Madame Tussauds where she was immortalised in wax.

The talented star explained to her followers that she's so excited to have a waxwork model of herself going on display and tweeted: "OMG guys... it's my pleasure to finally announce that @MadameTussauds made me into a WAX FIGURE! It'll be officially on show from today at @TussaudsLA in hollywood..."

Referring to the process itself, Lorde added: "It was an incredibly detailed process sitting for the waxwork, and the team at MT were so passionate and skilled!"

Speaking to Billboard magazine for Mother's Day recently, Lorde admitted that she loves her mum and is especially proud to reveal that she once stood up to a school bully who picked on her because of her eyebrows: "My mum is the best ever: When I was 8, she drove to my school and shouted at a boy who made fun of my mono-brow."
