Lorde is said to have rejected the chance to collaborate with David Guetta.

The French DJ has had something of a golden touch in recent years, creating tracks like the smash hit 'Titanium'.

Whilst 16-year-old New Zealand prodigy Lorde is also enjoying chart-topping success with the track 'Royals', it seems she isn't keen on teaming up with Guetta.

FasterLouder reports that the singer was told by her manager that the Frenchman wanted her to feature on his next album, with Lorde apparently replying:

"No, F*ck no. He's so gross."

The young star seemingly isn't one to mince her words, with the singer recently saying that she won't "go off the rails like Britney [Spears], or do an Amy [Winehouse}".

She also criticised Selena Gomez for singing apparently suggestive lyrics in her track 'Come and Get It'.

Lorde's debut album 'Pure Heroine' meanwhile hit No.4 in the UK when it was released at the end of October.
