Louis Tomlinson Presents NHS Award to Manchester Arena Survivor

Louis Tomlinson attended The NHS Heroes Awards 2018 in London last night (May 14). The 'Miss You' hitmaker was at the event to present the Young Fund Raiser Award to Manchester Arena survivor Freya Lewis, who is only 15 years old. Lewis broke down in tears whilst being praised by the One Direction star for her fundraising efforts.

Almost a year ago, Lewis had been fighting for her life as she had been at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on May 22 last year when a suicide bomber killed 22 people and injured 59 others. The bomb took the life of her best friend. She has since raised more than £27,000 for the hospital which saved her life.

Tomlinson is no stranger to charity himself. Recently, the kind-hearted star donated thousands to help a 9-year-old girl who suffers from cerebral palsy.

The hugely popular English singer-songwriter is putting the finishing touches to his debut solo album, which should be released later this year.
