Louis Tomlinson has posted an update on his album progress on Twitter today (June 13).

Earlier this morning, he tweeted: "Ok ok sorry I’ve been working hard! 

"Been spending the last couple of weeks working out an overall plan for the year and beyond that. Promise I’ll update you when it’s all in place."

Tomlinson's solo debut album will be out later this year. Initially, he was hoping to release it by the summer.

Since then he has changed management and has been working hard on getting everything in place for it. He also announced last month (May) that he is hoping to do a tour with this album later this year. 

The big-hearted star, who was recently crowned King of Pop by MTV viewers, has also been busy lending his support to various charites, including The NHS Heroes Awards last month, where even living legend Tito Jackson was impressed by him.
