Louis Tomlinson announces rescheduling of North American tour
Louis Tomlinson has announced that his North American tour dates this summer are currently being rescheduled.
The hugely popular English singer-songwriter had been set to play the following cities/venues on the North American leg of his 2020 debut solo world tour:
Minneapolis, MN Fillmore Minneapolis
Tomlinson announced the news less than an hour ago on Twitter, saying:
"Hi everyone, hope you're all doing ok.
"My US Tour this summer is being rescheduled. New dates are being worked on at the moment and as soon as we have the new schedule finalised I'll share with everyone. All tickets will be honored accordingly.
"If you have got a ticket and would prefer a refund, please visit livenation.com/refund for your options. Thank you for understanding.
"I can't wait to get back out there and see you all soon, Louis x"
Tomlinson's tour is to promote his debut solo album, Walls, which went to No. 1 on iTunes in 47 countries.
The music star kicked off his world tour in Spain earlier this year on March 9, but was forced to cancel his Milan show on March 11 at the city’s Fabrique venue due to concerns when COVID-19 first broke out.
The global pandemic has already left the live music industry facing huge losses after many events have been forced to cancel or postpone due to safety, and exactly when things will return to a new "normal" no-one yet knows. It has been described as the most serious health crisis the world has ever had to face this century.
