Exclusive - Lower Than Atlantis cover Robbie Williams' 'Strong'

Lower Than Atlantis are releasing a bumper repackage of their 2014 self-titled album later this month - and Pressparty have an exclusive first listen of one of its new tracks.

'Lower Than Atlantis - The Black Edition' will feature a number of fresh songs - as well as four cover tracks.

One of them see the Watford band put their own spin on Robbie Williams’ 1998 tune ‘Strong’ - and you can listen to it first below.

Speaking to Pressparty, singer Mike Duce said he personally chose the song for the record - and it seems it shares a lot in common with his band.

He revealed: “The reason I picked it is because it sounded almost like a Lower Than Atlantis song that hadn't been written yet.

“The chord progression and topline sound like something I'd do and I've loved that song since I was a kid.”

Speaking about the album re-issue, which contains two new original recordings, Duce added: “It's basically just a whole load of bonus material.

“I’d say it's the new album with a load of fun stuff chucked in. It's what we would've wanted the album to be if we were allowed to f*cking bombard people with content.”

'Lower Than Atlantis - The Black Edition' will be released on November 20.
