Rapper E-reign Responds To Harlem Building Explosions

"Long Island, New York rapper artist and creator of the indie record 'Money Calling' (ESM Entertainment) sends his heart out to the families affected by the Harlem tragedy."

Mar. 13, 2014 - NEW YORK -- Independent Hip Hop Music News

As recording artist there are far more duties than to simply create music. At times you must take on the weight of society and become a symbol of hope in times of great sadness. E-reign (ESM Entertainment) is one rapper from NY who has decided to answer the call. On March 12, 2013 a massive explosion in Manhattan's Harlem. The blast left 4 dead, 9 missing, and 64 people hurt as a gas leak in Patterson's building took the building down and brought the one next to it down as well.

Later that day E-reign (ESM Entertainment) was in an interview with Focus the Producer of Major Music Promotions, and when asked what had he heard of the explosion he replied  "that's a sad situation and my condolences goes out to those who suffered  a lost and to those who were injured. When it comes down to peoples homes still being dependent on gas, I feel like what ever is needed to provide better safety in a high occupancy building should be done."

A truly powerful statement that the government should be taking into consideration. If its one thing we can all agree on its that tragedies like this can in fact be avoided.
