The streaming internet radio powerhouse IBFU Radio has come back out swinging with its new streaming venture through Forbes Music Inc. The format of the station has shifted to a more mainstream urban/top-40 brand with a mixture of independent records sandwiched in between. If you remember IBFU Radio from 2013 they set a record with over 10,000 streams in their first months but featured nothing other than raw talent.

One thing that remains is Dj CL Kash, program director and the sole Dj at IBFU Radio. She makes all of the music selections and decides on all of the music rejections. The initial music selection is quite peculiar but still genius as she mixes the new school with the old school. She has opted to spin music from 2015 as far back as 1998. She is one of the few program directors in the world today that has selected to bring artists such as Ma$e, Jadakiss, Eminem, Mr. Cheeks and Cassidy back into rotation.

The one major change about the station is that it now operates as an independent radio promotion company or an "indie" as many prefer to call it. Helping independent recording artists distribute their music across 38 states to over 700 stations. Since the Forbes Music Inc merger in 2014 the station has pushed over 15 records and have seen 10 to adds on 13 stations or more. IBFU Radio is also the head station on broadcast group Unsigned Media Connections which consists of 13 radio stations.

IBFU Radio of course has been given the green light as it meets all requirements of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Live365 Broadcaster Agreement. Minimum requirements for listing in the directory are different depending on how long a playlist is and how many artists are on it. IBFU Radio is currently operating under the following limits, which are 4.96 tracks/artist and 3.72 tracks/album for a playlist of IBFU Radio's length.
