Indiepop artist Emily Capell has today released her latest single ‘Joey/Applejack’ including the video http://youtu.be/yMwHQDcX_Ws. Hailing from North West London, Emily Capell tells blues inflected indiepop tales of life's frustrations and elations. Whether she's railing against the wrongs of the world, getting a little frisky or inventing a new dance craze Emily pulls you in and spins you around with such enthusiasm you'll wonder why you ever bothered with dull generic boy-lead guitar bands.

Since recruiting her band last year Emily has gigged constantly and played festivals and events across the country; as well as high profile shows in the capital. This year her songs have gained airplay on BBC6Music thanks to long time fan and broadcaster Amy Lame; and BBC London thanks to support from Gary Crowley – who also interviewed her on his Amazing Radio show.
