Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine has welcomed his first child into the world. 

Levine and his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, celebrated the birth of their daughter Dusty Rose Levine yesterday (Wednesday, September 21) in California. No further details have been announced as of yet. 

Back in April, the heartthrob told E! News that he couldn't wait to become a father: "It's awesome. I'm going to be a dad. S**t, I'm excited. I'm going to be a f**king dad. I'm going to spoil Behati. Kid's not even out yet. Can't be spoiling a kid before a kid gets out."
