Maroon 5's 'Payphone' dominating UK singles chart

Maroon 5's 'Payphone' is likely to land at No.1 on the UK singles chart this weekend.

According to the Official Chart Company's midweek update released today (June 20), their track is outselling the previous No.1 - Cheryl's 'Call My Name' - by double.

This means that Cheryl's song has been relegated to No.2, with Flo Rida's 'Whistle' resting at No.3.

Elsewhere in the midweek singles chart, Stooshe's 'Black Heart' is a new entry at No.4 whilst Coldplay and Rihanna's 'Princess Of China' follows at No.5.

Fun's hit track 'We Are Young' sits at No.7 on the chart with fellow smash 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen one place behind at No.8.
