Maroon 5 on new tour: 'We've had a resurgence, we've been given a second life'

'Payphone' hitmakers Maroon 5 have just announced details of an exciting new tour that will take them all over north America and they described the opportunity as like being given a "second life".

In a new video uploaded to YouTube, frontman Adam Levine talks about the upcoming 'Overexposed' tour and explains that it will blow fans' minds because they want to make it their best live set-up yet:

"This is our biggest tour yet. For anybody who has seen a Maroon 5 show - even those people are going to be so blown away by what we're doing now. We really feel this calling to put on the best show that we've ever put on."

"We feel like we've had this resurgence - this second life - where we're pushing ourselves that much harder to make the best concert experience we could possibly have. It's certainly going to be something that we want the whole world to see."

The tour is set to kick off in Columbus, Ohio, on February 13, 2013 and will run until April 6 where it will come to a close at Rosemont's Allstate Arena in Illinois. Neon Trees and Owl City have been confirmed as the opening acts and the tickets go on sale at 10am on October 27.
