Matador Records announces new hires and promotions

Matador Records is excited to announce new hires and promotions for its New York and London offices for 2018.  In New York, Rian Fossett has been promoted to Director of Marketing from her role as Label Coordinator, which she held over the past three years.  She will be overseeing global marketing campaigns for all Matador releases, working closely with the Beggars Group worldwide marketing departments.  Malcolm Donaldson has been hired as Label Coordinator to take over her former duties, having previously worked at Captured Tracks.

Also new to the New York office is Ruby Hoffman and Emma Buchanan, who are A&R Coordinators.  Ruby was previously a scout for 4AD Records, with past experience in music publicity.  Emma Buchanan has internships under her belt at Sub Pop and Ba-Da-Bing Records, in addition to writing for many online music publications.  Emma and Ruby will report to the three Matador co-owners, Gerard Cosloy, Chris Lombardi, and Patrick Amory.

Matador's London staff increased to three people in early 2017 with the hires of Josh Turner and Noam Klar, joining label General Manager, Natalie Judge.  Initially hired as Label Coordinator, Josh has been promoted to the role of Product Manager / Label Coordinator, taking on global product management duties.  Noam Klar is the Director of Publicity in the UK, working hand-in-hand with international territories and myself, Shira Knishkowy, the Director of Publicity in the US, to develop global publicity campaigns.
