Rising singer songwriter and all-round pop talent Drew Schiff announces new single ‘Ride The Wave’OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Matrix Promotions Rising singer songwriter and all-round pop talent Drew Schiff announces the release of his new single ‘Ride The Wave’. The self-penned song is the third to be released by 23 year old Schiff, whose previous singles ‘Ray-Bans’ and ‘It’s Just today’ have earned him well over 100,000 streams on Spotify and a Billboard chart placement in the US. ‘Ride The Wave’ continues Drew’s run of pop perfection, drawing on his personal experiences of love in an imperfect world. He says: “The song’s message is that no matter what your past is, what society tells you who you should (or shouldn't) be or if you feel that you’re not good enough, as long as you’re here with me we can deal with it all, together we will become the eye of the storm. I’ve encountered lots of storms over the past few years but if I had to pick the one that has been most impactful on my life, it would be when I was forced to leave home due to me being different than what my parents dreamt me up to be.” Truly independent in every sense of the word, Drew is a popstar with an unconventional story. Born in Hungary to German and Spanish parents, he was rejected by his biological family and had to leave home in his teens due to his mother openly objecting to Drew’s sexual fluidity. Releasing ‘Ride The Wave’ shortly before the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Drew will be dedicating all proceeds from the single to the Stonewall Community Foundation. Drew Schiff’s “Ride the Wave” is available on iTunes, Spotify and all digital platforms. All proceeds from “Ride The Wave” are being donated to the Stonewall Community Foundation.
