Jamieson is a London born writer and producer that can be described as a storyteller who narrates his life experiences through his music. By using his Colombian and Scottish heritage as a reference, his concepts come to life through a combination of addictive melodies, witty punchlines and vivid imagery. All of these elements create a dynamic mix of entertaining and introspective music that stirs the soul and makes you nod your head.

Despite being a proud Londoner, Jamieson always believed success in the UK would be just a starting point. After years of hard graft on the regional music circuit, Jamieson soon realized that his dreams of blowing up in the music business were so big. Knowing that “if he could make it in New York, he could make it anywhere”; he packed his bags, said goodbye to everyone and everything he had ever known up until that point and headed towards the big city of dreams. Jamieson was determined to make a name for himself as a musician and an artist.

Before the term “hustle” became a cliché industry buzzword, Jamieson embodied such spirit by being able to make a noticeable impact soon after arriving in New York. He managed to secure himself an internship at a world-renowned record label and swiftly got connected with several power players and decision makers. Once he got more familiar with his new environment, he began to document his experiences musically. The result of this creative expression was The Foreign Exchange mixtape, which was hosted by G-Unit’s own DJ Whoo Kid and released in 2007. This project is a landmark release as it made Jamieson (at the time known as Killagram) the first UK artist in history to have his own G-Unit Radio branded product.

Jamieson kept himself relevant with the I Came, I Saw Vol. I-III series released between 2010 to 2012. This trilogy of EPs features production and collaborations from the US and abroad including rap heavyweights Sean Price, Joell Ortiz, Skyzoo and Emilio Rojas. The final EP featured the crazy and colourful banger, I Get Busy, which was accompanied by a unique 3D animated video. The song and video caught the attention of MTV and was play listed on MTV Base, featured on MTVIGGY.com and declared a “Hot New Single” by Myspace.com. The resoundingly positive feedback for his releases continued, and Jamieson was swiftly invited to perform at many events including Think Pink Rocks, Hot 97’s Who’s Next showcase and most recently as a featured performer at the SXSW music festival. Also, he has been booked as a supporting act for artists as diverse as Melanie Fiona, Flo Rida, Sean Kingston, Akon, Mobb Deep and The Pharcyde.

The single ‘Change The World’ is piano laced motivational music that can make even the most jaded pessimist want to be a better person. As Jamieson says: “When I first heard the instrumental for the track I knew it was a song that I’d have to deliver an uplifting and inspiring message. The main theme of the song is to change the world but I wanted to put the emphasis of having to change as individuals before being able to come together for a greater good. My music is quite biographical and honest I wanted to pen a song that showed what I've learned over the years to hopefully inspire others for a better future. This sounds crazy but when I was writing the song I was thinking about if I were to pass away, what message would I want to leave my children or to make them better humans? and with that question in mind that’s how this song was put together

‘Change the World’ is the kind of song that plants a seed of hope and inspiration in people: to change for the better and make a difference in this crazy world we live in.
