To mark the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s passing; US have produced a stunning remix of Nirvana’s most well-known song ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’. The duo has perfectly blended their signature style of high-energy EDM with the 90’s indie band to pay their respects to one of the world’s greatest musicians.

US kept the iconic guitar riffs and Kurt’s raspy vocals and have added a US twist by including a bouncing kick and effects to ramp up the pace before a huge build up that drops into a much grittier, electronic and bassier version of the legendary tune. US have taken a massive risk to remix a song like ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ but it has paid off tremendously.

Ubaldo and Sober, the masterminds behind the US moniker, met online and began their career in dance music. Taking culture from 2 of the world’s most vibrant electronic music countries, the duo have merged their sonic imprints into a trademark sound that is distinctly their own. 2019 is set to be a breakout year for the duo with 2 EP releases on the horizon and many more high-powered DJ sets booked, not to mention their online following increasing daily.
