Dougie Poynter reveals that he won't collaborate with Ellie Goulding

Musician Dougie Poynter has revealed that it's unlikely he will collaborate with girlfriend Ellie Goulding in the future because he thinks it might wreck her career and reputation.

When asked by Notion magazine if he has plans to duet with the 'Starry Eyed' songstress, he explained that it probably wouldn't be the best idea: "No, I wouldn't want to destroy her career. You've never heard me sing solo."

Poynter went onto add that they do play music together behind closed doors: "We both play guitar, exactly what I do with my bandmates. We sit down and play together and, like, jam together and mess around."

He also confessed that Goulding is more stylish than him: "I'll have to say Ellie has better style. Girls have way more to choose from. Even, like, down to underwear girls have more to choose from. With guys, you either wear briefs or boxers, but with girls it's like a whole different world. If I was a girl I'd dress like her."
