Harry Judd thinks a lot of McFly fans 'hated' McBusted

McFly drummer Harry Judd thinks some fans weren't keen on McBusted.

The supergroup formed in 2013 as McFly and Busted conjoined, with an album released and tours undertaken.

However, the band have now gone on hiatus as McFly hit the road again on a greatest hits tour.

Speaking to The Metro, Harry Judd said McBusted ran out of steam, with some fans not enjoying the project.

He said: "The McBusted thing was a huge success, but it quietly fizzled out. We're all quite polite and none of us likes confrontation. The last show happened and it was like 'OK, bye!' We knew it, but it was unspoken. We were cool with it.

"It's been a while since we have just been McFly and a lot of our fans are frustrated. Although McBusted has been a success, a lot of McFly fans were like, 'I hate McBusted!'."
