McFly's Harry Judd has credited fake tan with his success on this year's run of Strictly Come Dancing. 

The 25-year-old drummer has proven to be incredibly popular with both the show's panelists and the audience as he is still in the running to win, and he explained during a recent press conference that his confidence comes from having a bronzed body:

"I must admit I'm a big fan of fake tan. It doesn't smell nice but when you've got it on with your costume it puts you in the mood and gets you prepared. I've really embraced that and having Robbie Savage on the show made it much easier for me to get involved."

Although he works hard at his fit physique, Judd added that he's not about to dance on national television without a shirt on: "Maybe I'll undo a few buttons but I won't go topless..."
