McFly reveal "awesome" news

McFly's Tom Fletcher has joked ITV are "very brave" to let the band have their own hour-long show.

The singer took to Twitter today to reveal that the pop-rock band - also comprising Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Harry Judd - have been given their own slot on the channel in a few weeks time.

He wrote: So we’ve got some pretty darn exciting mcfly news for you all… We will have our own hour long tv show in a few weeks on itv1 called The Mcfly Show!!!! (sic)."

Fletcher added: " I can’t bloomin wait for The Mcfly Show. So so so awesome. We’ve got our own show! #hellyeah #TheMcflyShow. Very brave of itv1 to let us loose on their channel for an hour! ;) we won’t let you down! #TheMcflyShow (sic)."

Fletcher also teased about what fans could be looking forward to on the one-off episode:  "The Mcfly Show may or may not feature elephants in hot pants, Dougie juggling cats whilst synchronised swimming, & some music. #TheMcflyShow (sic)."

McFly kicked off Christmas in London yesterday (November 24) - taking to the stage in the busy Oxford Circus area of the city to perform some of their greatest hits to adoring fans.
