JUSTICE REVEAL NEW VIDEO FOR 'RANDY'
‘WOMAN’, JUSTICE’S HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED THIRD ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED NOVEMBER 18
Of the video, director (and designer of the art installation) Thomas Jumin says:
“The idea for this screen installation came from an inclination for an aesthetic in live show lighting that is both powerful and minimalistic. The object itself, the CRT Trinitron by SONY, is iconic for people of a certain generation for its design and for its specific rendering of the image. The idea was to build an installation made of 25 screens from 1987 and to use them with video controllers and analogue converters. We simply filmed it like one would film an art installation, so as to retain the objects’ authority and repetitive simplicity.”
‘Randy’ is the lead single from Justice’s highly-anticipated third studio album. Available to pre-order now, the LP will be released on November 18th both digitally and on CD/vinyl formats. Upon pre-order of the album, ‘Randy’ will be available for download instantly.
Their 2011 follow up album ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ saw Justice expand upon their distinctive sound by further incorporating their numerous contrasting musical influences. It was described as “Weighty, deep, imaginative” by NME in their 8/10 album review, and spawned the singles ‘Audio, Video, Disco’ and UK Dance Chart Top 10 ‘Civilization’.
