Meghan Trainor reassures fans: 'I'm healing and doing way better'

‘All About That Bass’ songstress Meghan Trainor has reassured her followers that she is on the mend after suffering a vocal cord haemorrhage.

The beauty visited a specialist who gave her a positive prognosis this week and she took to her official Twitter page much earlier today (July 9) to tell her followers that she has started to recover: “Good news! Doctor said I'm healing and my chords look WAY better.”

On Tuesday, Trainor explained that she has been forced to cancel more live dates, but her doctor ordered the change to her tour schedule and she has to take the advice seriously if she wants to be back on stage soon and posted the following message to Instagram:

“I have bad news, my doctor says I have to postpone two more dates, Detroit & Chicago and sadly I have to cancel my appearance at the Common Ground Music Festival. But there is good news!! I’m feeling much better, have already rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all soon!! Thank you Dr. Kessler for seeing me immediately and being so helpful and thank you guys for all the edits/get well posts you made. You made me feel a lot better about this crappy situation. I love you all so much!!”
