Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has finally unveiled her highly anticipated new song, entitled 'I'm A Lady', which features on the soundtrack to the upcoming new 'Smurfs' movie. 

The star gave a shout out on Instagram to her creative team and also to her mother, who she said helped her to write the track:

"Thank you to the amazing producers @martinrenealien and #themonsters&strangerz @therealmarclo thank you to my mama for helping me write this sassy/powerful song @kelliatrainor she won't admit it but she was by my side supporting me while I wrote it 😏💖 #ImALady."

Trainor will also voice one of the characters in the movie and tweeted: "I'M CRAZY EXCITED to be a part of the @SmurfsMovie as the VOICE of Smurf Melody 💗 First voice over gig ever😭😍 #IMALADY #SmurfsMovie."
