Mumford & Sons bassist hospitalised with blood clot on brainMumford & Sons have postponed three US dates after their bassist Ted Dwane was taken to hospital with a blood clot on his brain. The British group have pulled upcoming shows in Dallas, Woodlands and New Orleans, but they have assured fans that the musician will have a speedy recovery following an operation. A statement on the band's official website reads: "Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment. The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery." Mumford & Sons' next scheduled date is due to take place in Manchester, TN on June 15.
