Boston Marathon live coverage on April 16 as part of NBC Sports Month of Marathon coverage

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA to Present Encores of 2014-2017 Boston Marathons Starting this Saturday at 9 a.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. - April 12, 2018 - NBC Sports Group presents live coverage of the 122nd annual Boston Marathon this Monday, April 16, at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage will be streamed live on NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass” commercial-free. NBCSN’s coverage will also be available on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. 

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will kick off the weekend with encore presentations of the 2014-2017 Boston Marathons beginning this Saturday, April 14, at 9 a.m. ET, and will present the Boston Marathon PreviewShow on Sunday, April 15, at 4 p.m. ET.

In addition, the NBC Sports app will offer a unique finish-line camera during the race, allowing fans, and runners’ family and friends, the ability to see all runners cross the finish line on Boylston Street. The Boston Marathon finish-line camera feed will be available online for 30 days following the race. 

Held annually on Patriots’ Day, the Boston Marathon is the oldest (since 1897) and one of the most prestigious marathons in the world. Running from Hopkinton and weaving through Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, and Brookline, 30,000 runners aim to finish in downtown Boston. Americans headlining the field include 2017 New York City Marathon winner and Olympic silver medalist Shalane Flanagan and two-time Olympic medalist and 2017 Chicago Marathon winner Galen Rupp.

Swangard will also host the Boston Marathon Preview Show, joined by Masback and Kusnierek.

Live marathon coverage continues with the London marathon on Sunday, April 22, at 3:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Live, commercial-free coverage of the London marathon will also be streamed with a subscription to NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.” NBC Sports Gold also features a 52-minute recap show of the Milan Marathon, available on-demand.

Coverage on NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA content will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com, OlympicChannel.com, the NBC Sports app, and the Olympic Channel app.

Content will be presented as part of the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA partnership among NBCUniversal, the IOC, and the USOC.
