Super Bowl-winning head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy and new NBC Sports host and Notre Dame alum Jac Collinsworth will join NBC Sports' 30th season of Notre Dame Football coverage when it begins against Duke on Sat., Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dungy will be paired with Mike Tirico and Kathryn Tappen as lead analyst to call Fighting Irish games. Collinsworth will host NBC Sports' pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage and on select weeks will be joined by Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie.

Tirico returns as the voice of Notre Dame Football on NBC and is joined for the first time by Dungy, who played quarterback at the University of Minnesota from 1973-76. Dungy has also been an analyst on NBC's Football Night in America since 2009 and has worked numerous NFL games as an analyst, including the Thanksgiving night primetime game. Tappen returns as sideline reporter for her seventh season, while Flutie transitions this season from the booth to the studio for select weeks.

NBC Sports' unprecedented 30th season broadcasting Notre Dame Football includes a slate of ACC matchups, highlighted by primetime games versus two of college football's premier programs - Clemson and Florida State. For the 2020 season, the Fighting Irish, who are ranked No. 10 in both major preseason polls, will compete as part of the ACC due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. ET on NBC, two of the top signal callers in college football meet when Ian Book and Notre Dame host QB Trevor Lawrence and Clemson in the first meeting between the two powerhouse programs since the 2018 Cotton Bowl. Clemson would go on to win the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship after defeating the Irish in Texas. Behind Lawrence's 44 total touchdowns, Clemson returned to the CFP National Championship Game last season, falling to LSU for their first loss since the 2017 season. This will be Clemson's first trip to South Bend since 1979.

On Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Florida State and new Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell visit South Bend to face Notre Dame for the second time in the past three years, following Notre Dame's 42-13 win at Notre Dame Stadium on Nov. 10, 2018.

The Notre Dame on NBC season kicks off on Saturday, Sep. 12, when the Fighting Irish host Duke at Notre Dame Stadium, marking the first time the schools will face off in back-to-back seasons after Notre Dame topped Duke, 38-7, in 2019. The following weekend, on Sep. 19, Notre Dame faces South Florida, their one non-conference opponent on this season's schedule, at 2:30 p.m. ET on USA Network. The season concludes on Dec. 5 when the Fighting Irish host Syracuse.

Notre Dame posted an 11-2 overall record in 2019, which included victories against Virginia, USC, Navy, and Stanford. The season culminated with a win over Iowa State in the Camping World Bowl in Orlando, Fla. The Fighting Irish ultimately finished the season No. 12 in the final rankings.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app - NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs - will stream coverage of all 2020 Notre Dame home games.
