'Kiss Me Quick' hitmaker Nathan Sykes has revealed that he is really excited for his followers to finally hear his debut solo record because he's very proud of it. 

Last night, the heartthrob confessed that he gave his upcoming solo album a listen through and is ready for his fans to hear the music he has been working on: "Couldn’t decide what to listen to so thought I’d listen to the album… I'm so excited for you all to hear it!!"

Sykes also revealed that he's just enjoying a little down time at the moment because the rest of his year is looking very busy: "Enjoying some time off … It’s going to be a while until it happens again!!"

Earlier this month, the hitmaker told The Mirror newspaper that he has written one song called 'Famous' and he thinks it's especially poignant:

"There's one song called 'Famous,' which is about what do I have to do to make someone I care about, care about me as much as I do them? It's basically saying, 'Do I have to be famous, will you only call me when I'm famous?' Whenever I go through something that's not ideal, I don't feel sorry for myself. I go, 'My God, this is going to be such a great song.'"
