Singer Nathan Sykes recently took time out from his busy schedule as a solo artist to visit former The Wanted bandmate Jay McGuiness on the set of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and revealed his pride at the star's success.

Referring to the dance moves they would bust out in their boyband days, Sykes joked that none of them really knew what they were doing: "He [Jay] was just kind of doing the same as the rest of us and jumping around like fools."

The 'Kiss Me Quick' heartthrob went onto add that he's very proud of McGuiness and thinks he's doing very well on the show:

"I sit like there sobbing every week, 'He's just doing so well'. I'm just so proud of him."

McGuiness then confessed that knowing Sykes is fully behind him is fantastic because he has always been such a good friend: "Having Nathan's support is great. I had it all the way through The Wanted and that hasn't changed."
