Nathan Sykes did his A Levels on the road with The Wanted

Singer-songwriter and musician Nathan Sykes recently sat down for an interview with Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2 and opened up about the importance of education.

He explained that while he was on the road with The Wanted he studied for his A Levels because he was too young to go out partying with the other boyband members:

"They were going out every night and I was still under the age of eighteen, so I couldn't. They'd leave me in the hotel and a couple of weeks in I was like, 'well, what am I going to do?' so I was like, 'you know what, I'll just do my A Levels!'"

"I think education is extremely important. I'm a massive believer - especially for music in education - so for me to continue doing education wasn't necessarily a bad thing for me."
