OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

This Earth Month, let us entertain you with stories about our planet and its heroes — with everything from cooking shows to dramas, stand-up comedy specials to family titles, to nature documentaries and climate fiction.

We curated more than 170 of these stories into a new Netflix collection, called “One World, Infinite Wonder.” The collection debuts today, featuring art (pictured above) by California-based illustrator Leonardo Santamaria celebrating the beauty of our natural world. Leonardo was inspired by people impacted by climate change, having experienced it first-hand in the Philippines.

The collection includes series, films and specials that honor nature like Our Planet, Animal, David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, and a new five-part series launching today: Our Great National Parks. Narrated by former US president Barack Obama, this seriesexplores the world's most breathtaking national parks through the eyes of its wildest residents – showing how we can preserve these wild spaces for future generations.

And the collection goes beyond documentaries. The breakout success of Don’t Look Up shows how wide-ranging and entertaining stories about the environment can be. You can also learn about the science of climate change (Breaking Boundaries, Bill Nye the Science Guy) or how to live more sustainably (The Minimalists: Less is Now, Down to Earth with Zac Efron, Best Leftovers Ever!).

In gripping dramas like Ragnarok, Frontera Verde (Green Frontier) and Okja, we witness how people from all corners of the Earth use their unique gifts for good. Films such as The Boy Who Harnessed the Windand Youth v Gov(out April 29) put real-life climate heroes at the center of the story. And feel-good titles like Falling Inn Love, Waffles + Mochi and our new sci-fi adventure Captain Nova will get the whole family talking. Parents and educators can even use this handbook to start a conversation.

This collection reflects the fragility of our planet, but also how we can help it heal. Members globally can find this page by searching “One World Infinite Wonder” or “Earth Stories,” and by visiting netflix.com/earthstories or netflix.com/earthmonth. Members can find additional collections by searching “Going Green,” “Environment” and “Nature.” Titles vary based on location.

We’ll unveil new collections and artist collaborations throughout the year, so stay tuned.
