About Transatlantic

Marseilles in 1940-1941. An international group of young heroes risk their lives to save more than two thousand refugees from occupied France - including many literary and artistic figures who are on the Nazis' most wanted list: Transatlantic is inspired by the true story about Varian Fry, Mary Jayne Gold and the Emergency Rescue Committee. Together with their famous protégés, they move into a villa on the outskirts of town, where the impending danger to their lives quickly leads to unexpected alliances and intense love relationships.
