Published: November 18, 2024 -- Tom Hardy is no stranger to playing gritty roles in TV and film, taking on historical figures and criminals in period pieces, as well as iconic villains. Now, the Oscar-nominated actor will star in the upcoming action-thriller HAVOC.

The film follows a bruised detective who must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal gone wrong. In the process, he begins to unravel a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city. Hardy is joined by Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

HAVOC is directed by Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London), and produced by Evans, Ed Talfan, Aram Tertzakian, and Tom Hardy.
