After a whirlwind summer performing at iconic festivals like Glastonbury and Camp Bestival, The Barefoot Bandit return with their highly anticipated new single, ‘Purple Paradise,’ feat. Shniece. The track offers an irresistible blend of pop-reggae, dub, and chill island vibes, continuing the band's tradition of captivating audiences with their unique fusion of genres.

‘Purple Paradise’ is the latest in The Barefoot Bandit's rapidly expanding catalogue, following their critically acclaimed debut album Hello Welcome (2022), which earned high praise from legendary figures like Craig Charles and David Rodigan. This new single brings listeners a slice of escapism, inspired by frontman Laurie’s visit to the breathtaking Phi Phi Islands in Thailand. Co-written with Charlene Soraia, the lyrics, combined with lush melodies crafted by drummer Jack, create a sonic journey filled with warmth, relaxation, and the bliss of stepping away from the everyday.

The single was produced by Dean Forrest and recorded across several iconic studios, including CUBE Studios in Cornwall for the vocals and RAWCUS Studios for the brass. It also features the ethereal vocals of Shniece Mcmenamin, adding a special layer of harmony to the band's signature sound.

The Barefoot Bandit are gearing up for their hometown show at Exeter Phoenix on November 2nd, and performances in Bristol (Single Launch 1st Nov) and Plymouth (15th Nov) to promote the release.
