London-based, female-led rock band X-Ray Love is back with their latest single, "Another Time," a raw and hauntingly beautiful track that captures the essence of human resilience. Led by guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Ella Day, the band, which initially made waves in New York City, has cemented their place on the UK music scene with their gritty, post-punk sound reminiscent of legendary acts like Blondie, The Ramones, and Patti Smith.

"Another Time" is the band's first song written and recorded entirely in London, following their relocation from New York. The song is rooted in the experiences of upheaval and change, bearing the unmistakable energy of their new home with a touch of New York’s edge. Ella Day, reflecting on the song's inspiration, says, "I dedicate this song to anyone who has gone through the dark night of the soul. There is a primal sadness to it, but also a beautiful offering of hope. It's about survival, about finding your feet again."

The song’s evocative lyrics and distinct arrangements tell a story of endurance, finding beauty in the broken and the strength to move forward. "The changes throughout the song illustrate how resilient we are," Ella shares. "We mourn, we suffer, but we survive and find our way. There’s hope in this song."

Co-produced and mixed by Andy Macpherson, a renowned figure who has worked with legends like The Who, Johnny Marr, and Debbie Harry, the song showcases the band’s signature blend of raw punk energy with a touch of elegance. The mastering was done by Jon Astley, known for his work with iconic artists like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Paul McCartney, giving "Another Time" a polished yet soulful sound.

X-Ray Love has been on a meteoric rise since their formation in 2019. Following their relocation, they’ve continued to build a dedicated fanbase in the UK, performing at iconic venues like The O2 Academy Islington 2 and headlining shows at legendary locations across London. Their upcoming debut EP, "Have it for Lunch," set to release in Spring 2025, will feature "Another Time" as a centrepiece, with additional singles launching ahead of the full release.

To support the release of their new material, X-Ray Love is gearing up for a major European tour, including stops in Britain, Ireland, France, Spain, and Italy. This tour will showcase not only the new songs but also the band’s iconic energy and charisma that make them a must-see live act.
