Rising Bulgarian vocalist and songwriter Vythess has released her latest single, "Need Some Space", an empowering pop-R&B track that demands personal autonomy and celebrates newfound inner strength. The single marks the first release from her upcoming EP, Fragments of Healing, a deeply personal collection inspired by her journey through anxiety, uncertainty, and recovery.

Hailing from the serene Rhodope Mountains, Vythess has made her mark on the European music scene with her soulful voice and evocative storytelling. Known for a sound that offers a sonic journey blending contemporary pop and R&B influences, Vythess creates music that resonates across cultural and emotional boundaries.

"Need Some Space" reflects a powerful transition from vulnerability to empowerment. With contrasting verses that highlight the shift from powerlessness to excitement for life, the uplifting chorus celebrates the strength gained through self-discovery.

“I wanted to create music that I can play to myself in case I get into a hard moment again,” Vythess shares. “I hope this can help other people who have been in a similar situation to find comfort and strength.”

The track was co-produced by Denis Popstoev, celebrated as Bulgaria’s Best Producer of 2023 by the R&B Awards. The production also features contributions from Valentino Babat, part of the award-winning duo Xander & V, and renowned mixing engineer Dimitar Ganchev, who has worked with both national and international talents.

"Need Some Space" serves as the opening chapter of Fragments of Healing, a five-track EP born from a winter of personal challenges. As Vythess turned inward, she found solace in mindfulness, self-care, and music. The EP, co-produced with Popstoev, aims to offer listeners an escape and a path to healing, presenting art as a safe space to express emotions and navigate life’s complexities.

In 2024, Vythess became the first Bulgarian artist to reach the finals of the prestigious Tour Music Fest in San Marino, coming close to representing the country at Eurovision. In May 2025, she will debut her EP live at the SPIKE Showcase Festival in Bulgaria, marking a new milestone in her blossoming career.
