Lead vocalist and co-writer Wes McGee brings the theme full circle with an expressive vocal performance that moves from airy and nostalgic to powerful and aching. “It’s about how we all have the ability to rise higher than who we are,” McGee says. “We can choose not to be constrained by what others expect of us.
