Niall Horan's first guitar sells for four times its estimated value at auction

Niall Horan's first guitar sells for four times its estimated value at auction.

The auction took place for the Irish charity, Debra Ireland, which supports those living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - a condition which causes skin to be as fragile as a butterfly's wings, meaning it blisters at the slightest touch.

The guitar was on sale over the weekend at Whyte's auction house.

It was estimated to go for 300 euros (£265/$358) but went for 1,200 euros (£1060/$1435).

Horan signed the guitar and wrote on it: “I got this when I was nine-years-old and it was my first ever guitar.”
