Niall Horan is set to release a new single this Friday (July 6) called Finally Free.

The track features in the soundtrack to the new Warner Animation movie, Small Foot.

Small Foot stars the voices of Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya, Common and Danny Devito. It will be released on September 28, 2018.

The film is about a young yeti who finds and forms a friendship with a human which throws his yeti community into turmoil. The animation celebrates 'friendship, courage and the joy of discovery'.

Twenty-four-year-old Horan told his Twitter followers: "This song will be part of the soundtrack for the movie.

"From the minute I seen a small clip from it, I was in straight away… it’s a must see.”
