Nick Jonas has revealed his admiration for Ryan Tedder's songwriting skills.

The OneRepublic man has emerged in recent years as one of pop's most prolific songwriters.

He penned the band's hit song 'Counting Stars' as well as working with artists such as Beyoncé, Adele and Ellie Goulding.

Speaking to Billboard, Jonas opened up on some of the people he is jealous of.

Talking about Tedder, the US star said: "If that guy writes another hit song, my head's going to explode."

He also picked baseball's Derek Jeter ("I wish I could have played baseball"), Island Records president David Massey and Ryan Seacrest ("He's the hardest-working man in show business").
