Nick Jonas worried he would alienate fans with 'sexier' new direction

Heartthrob Nick Jonas has revealed that leaving the Jonas Brothers and pursuing his own career in music was scary because he didn't know how his fans would react to his "sexier" new musical direction.

When asked by Heat magazine if he has heard of any babies being conceived to his songs, he joked: "Not yet but I'm down for that. I'd be thrilled if there were some babies made to my music. I'd be really proud, it would be an honour."

He went onto admit that launching a solo career was daunting because he worried that his existing fans wouldn't embrace his new direction:

"The album features songs about things that are relevant and important to me, and at this point in my life, some of that has to do with some sexier topics. It was a big concern that maybe people wouldn't embrace what I was doing now, but they've connected with it very quickly. I feel very blessed."
