Nick Jonas' 'Jealous' reaches milestone and goes Gold in the UK

Heartthrob Nick Jonas has reached another career milestone in the UK this afternoon as his catchy hit single 'Jealous' has now been certified Gold.

The British Phonographic Industry confirmed the exciting news this afternoon (August 14) and explained that the track has now sold over 400,000 in the country, which means that it is now classified as Gold: "Good news @nickjonas fans. The single ‘Jealous’ is now Gold here in the UK! #bpiAwards."

Platinum certification comes after a single shifts 600,000 units. Jonas, meanwhile, has been confirmed to perform his forthcoming new single 'Levels' at this year's MTV VMAs pre-show.

The superstar is set to appear in Ryan Murphy's upcoming new horror series 'Scream Queens' and explained that he plays a shy character named Boone: "It's about young people in their lives and kind of exposing some of the evil within sororities and fraternities. It's filmed with a really specific tone and with what I think is pretty brilliant writing. I think the thing that I was most drawn to about this show was the description of the character I was given - being put in a different light and just being able to have some fun. I think we see him as a more fearful, shy person because he's got a lot of love he wants to give."
